Portal

A series of training sessions that will enable you to create bespoke pages and forms to display and capture employee data on the Portal.

Prerequisites

To enable the Portal to function in Self Service mode, the Windows User ID must be linked to the employee's HR Record.  If you need help in setting this up, please book the Enabling Self Service Part 1 and the Enabling Self Service Part 2 training sessions.

Authorised Users, such as Line Managers, Administrators and Directors, will need a QL HR login with the appropriate permissions.  If you need help in setting up the Authorised Users, please book the Enabling Authorised Users training session.

Employees that will be creating Portal pages must have the relevant SharePoint permissions and employees that will be creating forms (usually the same person) will need QL HR Administrator permissions.

Certain pages must be available to ensure full functionality.  These are included in the sample website (for example HRFormEditor.aspx).  If you need help with setting these page up, please book the Required Pages training session.
